Recent health conditions, I must say, have been extremely humbling. This morning I went in for a scrotal ultrasound. The technician confirmed that I have a medium sized spermatocele, or cyst, and a small hydrocele, which is a patch of fluid within the scrotum. It is now up to the urologist to see whether or not one or both of these will need to be surgically removed. He will make the final judgment.
The issue here regarding surgery is that the swelling and the size of both of these growths increases dramatically as testosterone levels build up in the body. When they decrease, the swelling goes down. So now, back to waiting.
