Summertime

I would ordinarily record a song of my own today, but I am having technical difficulties. An increased Lithium level often brings with it significant hand tremors. Or, to put it another way, I can't grasp my pick without dropping it and, even if I could, I don't have the manual dexterity needed to strum the guitar.

This seemed applicable.

Summertime, and the living is easy
Fish are jumping
And the cotton is high

Oh, your daddy's rich
And your ma is good-looking
So hush little baby
Don't you cry

One of these mornings
You're gonna rise and sing it
Then you'll spread your wings
And you'll take to the sky

But 'til that morning
There's a-nothing can harm you
With daddy and mammy standing by
