I might go. I just don't want to wear a suit and tie.

  1. I didn't really like any of my fellow high schoolers. I skipped my senior year to go to college, so didn't really graduate. I don't get notices and am so glad not to have to consider the possibility.

However, if I'd just published something, I'd probably want to go invited or not.

  2. No one really knew me in high school. I was a late bloomer and too shy at the time.

  3. If there are people you'd really love to see, then you should go. If not, it's just a waste of your time and wallet.

Sometimes reconnecting with an old friend or two is wonderful, but usually if one was an ass in school, they generally still are as an adult.

If you go, have fun and if it turns out to be a drag; leave.

  4. Cocktail Chic does not necessarily mean Suit & Tie. It could be fun and funky. Just not jeans and sneakers.

I have missed every single one of my reunions - and the few friends I reconnected with through Classmates.com have been d-u-l-l. At spring break, I'll be hanging with a bunch of HS friends who have stayed in touch because we genuinely like each other. My Uncle Jenifer went to his 40th (?) reunion because s/he wanted to show off the new sex change . . .
